Hello 91视频members,

I hope that the summer months has been treating everyone well! Just to catch us up in 2025 WI State Society received a Friends of ASCLS Award at the 2025 Spring Meeting for being a Bronze Sponsor. Plenty of networking and Continuing Education Sessions at the meeting. A small take away from the meeting Navigating Ethical Dilemmas & Moral Distress in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) which presented on ways to talk about it, A Process for Thinking Through Ethical Issues:

  • Identify the conflict
  • Identify the stakeholders
  • Identify the relevant facts
  • Identify the norms
  • Identify the possible options
  • Recommend and justify an option

Looking for Scholarships?

Weisberg MLS Post-Graduate Scholarship which no one applied it this year
Next year, the spring meeting will be at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in WI Dells, WI, April 14-15, 2026, so SAVE THE DATE.

Next, we had the 2025 National Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA once again lots of networking and Continuing Education Sessions. 91视频WI State Society was presented with another award, the Leona Lyons Carter Award. Granted to a state society in recognition of superior achievement and service to the benefit of 91视频and its members, so let’s keep striving for success. Next year it will be in Columbus, OH, July 2026, so SAVE THE DATE.

A small takeaway from the meeting. Saundra Dalton-Smith, MD, was one of the keynote speakers, and she talked about sensory overload causing agitation, irritation, and rage. Look for moments of sensory reprieve by turning off the radio on your drive home or sitting in your car for two minutes before going in the house.

Great Lakes District Meeting, Sept 11-13, 2025, Frankenmuth MI, Registration is open

Sincerely,
Karen Sumlin-Gray, RMA (AMT)
